2021 GMC Acadia
The GMC Acadia 2021 has a great looking exterior design. There are three tows of seats which makes it great for the family. Everyone can fit in this SUV without a problem. There is the standard four cylinder model that most families choose. There is also the turbocharged model or the V6. The standard model offers a lot of power so many do not choose to upgrade. There are many
connectivity features that are user friendly. This technology is easy to operate. The cabin has second row captain’s chairs for comfort. Even with all of these great features some feel that the interior does not meet up to the asking price for the SUV. What families like about this car are that there is plenty of room for everyone to fit.

Engine and Performance
The base model has a four cylinder and 193 horsepower. There is an optional upgrade to the 3.6-liter engine with a V6 that has 310 horsepower. There is a nine speed automatic feature that has front wheel drive. You can select an option where you can get all wheel drive. The 2.5 liter is good for fuel economy. This model can tow 1,000 pounds but the V6 is more powerful and it can toe up to 4,000 pounds.
There is an option for a 2.0-liter turbocharged engine with 230 horsepower. This is only available on certain trims with certain features. It is hard to remember that you are driving an SUV with all of this power. The Acadia is able to monitor those driving at high speeds. When it is driven less aggressively it is a good and safe car. The ride is stable and easy to handle. There is an adaptive suspension that will help the cargo over the bumps and keeps everything safe and tight.
Fuel Economy
There are some different versions when it comes to the engine. The front wheel version has a 2.5-liter engine. It is estimated to get around 21 miles to the gallon when driving in the city and 27 miles to the gallon on the highway. The V6 model will get around 19 miles to the gallon and 27 miles on the highway. The turbocharged engine will get around 22 miles to the gallon in the city and 29 miles to the gallon on the highway. The nine speed automatic model has not been tested.
Comfort and Cargo
There is a telescoping steering column that is more comfortable for short drives. The steering wheel is wrapped in leather and has an aluminum trim making it look very classy. Some of the interiors do have a cheaper look. When the third row is being used there is little storage room. There is more room when the second and third row seats are down. If hauling people and cargo at the same time you may want to get a larger model.
